Gas Turbine Efficiency - Gas Path CleaningGas Turbine Efficiency (GTE) develop, manufacture and market systems for gas turbine cleaning with high efficiency whilst maintaining the lowest possible impact on the environment by keeping CO2 and NOx levels as low as possible. The GTE cleaning concept provides a high degree of atomisation of heated water or detergent through specially designed nozzles using high pressure of 50bar - 80bar. The main benefits with the GTE concept (compared to traditional low pressure systems of three to six bar) are improved wash efficiency, optimised use of water/detergent and the use of same nozzles for both on and off-line washes. The latter significantly reduces nozzle installation costs and space requirements. The GTE wash system is well proven to comply with all type of gas turbines and designed for use with any OEM approved consumables. GTE CLEANING SYSTEM FOR GAS TURBINESThe new GTE cleaning system for gas turbines has proved to have outstanding on-line washing performance. This minimises the need for unscheduled, revenue losing shut downs for a so-called off-line wash. The new GTE system designed for on and off-line wash enables the turbine to be effectively washed at part load or base load without putting the operation under hazard. This is thanks to the specially designed GTE nozzles with significantly improved atomisation. This also results in great water and consumable savings, making the system to the most cost effective and environmentally adapted washing system available on the market. GTE GAS PATH CLEANING FOR MINIMISED GAS TURBINE OPERATION SHUTDOWNSThe influence of gas turbine degradation on operating costs is high. An unscheduled shut down for off-line wash with a 24 hour power interruption results in a production loss of $125,000 or more for a gas compressor station.
