K2 Expands into Africa

K2 is expanding into Africa with the official opening of K2 offices in Johannesburg and Angola. As part of the Velosi Group, K2 will be working closely with our Velosi counterparts who have existing offices in Angola, Nigeria, Ghana and South Africa.
Velosi, which has an established presence in the region, holds significant manpower supply contracts in Angola and Nigeria. In addition to being very familiar with local government frameworks for working in the oil and gas industry in Africa, the group also has full-time representation, administration, logistical and visa capabilities throughout Africa.
Our Africa office will be managed by the new Africa regional manager, Mark Valentine, who will be responsible for expanding K2's capabilities in Africa to support existing worldwide contracts as well as pushing existing service lines into new markets. He has extensive experience in the oil and gas sectors, with proven capabilities in establishing offices in new regions and developing market share and training capabilities.
