Added Value Engineering Consultants (AVEC) and VGI Consulting Incorporated (VGI) are proud to announce that 2012 marks the tenth year of the two companies working together to offer clients top-class engineering, design and execution services. AVEC provides process engineering, engineering support and project management expertise, and VGI offers complementary services in discipline engineering (mechanical, piping E&I and civil / structural), project management and project execution (EPCM).

Today’s challenges mean that a streamlined approach to projects and the minimisation of the interfaces throughout the different phases of work is needed. By combining their expertise and resources, AVEC and VGI have successfully completed a large number of projects over the last decade.

"We have worked successfully together on many projects over the years and have covered everything from small, pre-feasibility studies to large, engineering and construction projects," said Marion Hughes, MD of AVEC.

"Our clients have mainly been in South Africa, but we have also executed work together for a number of international clients, predominantly in the oil and gas and petroleum industries for terminals, pipelines and storage facilities."

Ian Grobler MD of VGI agrees that by promoting the working relationship with AVEC, both companies are well-placed to offer a complete engineering and project service with the capability of being flexible and responsive to clients’ needs.
