Petrell will hold a VessFire course for new users on 14th and 15th February 2012. The course will be held in Trondheim.
The course agenda will be:
Day 1
- Introduction to the subject

- Blowdown calculation procedure
- Heat load and duration
- Acceptance criteria
- Theoretic basis
- Example: calculation results
- The VessFire user interface
- Practical exercise using Vessfire
Day 2: Test case
- Familiarisation with the case
- Clarifying any limiting conditions
- Technical Information for input
- Matrix set up of required simulations
- Simulations
- Results analysis
- Report
