In Q3 2009, UNIMAR takes delivery of the first of its newly-built multi-purpose 5150 Class AHTS vessels for operations in New Zealand and the east coast of Australia.

UNIMAR has accumulated extensive in-house expertise in managing key elements of ship repairs and maintenance dockings. The company becomes involved at the outset, featuring in the critical planning stages. This includes working with you to identify scope of work; finding locations to undertake work; sourcing and appraising sub-contractors; and putting together work lists, budgets and tenders.
A dedicated project manager will work closely with you to formulate a timeline, establish inbuilt cost control and commercial management systems, and ensure contract supply lines are in place for lead items and personnel. The project manager will act as your representative in all commercial and financial matters, giving you a single point of contact for the works and billing.
