Axflow

Axflow - Offshore Oil API Industrial Pumps: Diaphragm Pumps, Centrifugal Pumps, Reciprocating Pumps and Rotary Positive Displacement Pumps

AxFlow have been based in Aberdeen for over 25 years, building pump systems and chemical-injection packages for the offshore oil industry. Critical-process pumping applications include glycol injection, produced water, recovered oil, anti-foaming agents, ethanol, corrosion inhibitors and drilling mud. AxFlow sell pump units and offer pump hire as well as a complete range of pump repair, maintenance, service and training packages.

Pumping technologies include:

  • Air-operated double-diaphragm
  • Rotary sliding vane
  • Circumferential piston
  • Lobe, progressing cavity
  • Peristaltic
  • Hydraulic diaphragm
  • Mechanical diaphragm
  • Oscillating disc
  • Piston
  • Plunger
  • Gear
  • Centrifugal

With a complete range of world-leading pump brands, AxFlow are able to supply the best-fit solution without compromise.

WILDEN AIR-OPERATED DOUBLE DIAPHRAGM PUMPS

Wilden pumps are the most simple-to-use workhorse pumps applied throughout the oil industry. Lightweight and driven by compressed air, Wilden pumps are able to handle viscous solids and laden liquids. The pump is self priming with the ability to run dry and stall-out on overpressure, making it ideal for arduous unmanned applications.

ALMATEC ATEX AIR OPERATED DOUBLE DIAPHRAGM PUMPS

Almatec pumps are manufactured in speciality conductive plastics, making them suitable for application in hazardous and corrosive ATEX environments.

WAUKESHA CIRCUMFERENTIAL PISTON PUMPS

Waukesha pumps are often referred to as rotary piston pumps. These pumps are able to handle abrasive liquids at high flow rate and high pressure, often eliminating the need to use fragile API 610 high-speed centrifugal pumps.

BREDEL PERISTALTIC HOSE PUMPS

Watson Marlow Bredel have developed the PetroProof peristaltic hose pump specifically for use in hydrocarbon applications and environments. The hose pump can run dry and has excellent suction capability on viscous and abrasive liquids.

BLACKMER ROTARY SLIDING-VANE PUMPS

Sliding-vane pumps are use primarily for fuel transfer, most often in helicopter refuelling. The sliding vane automatically compensates for wear, thus maintaining pumping efficiency throughout the life of the pump. The pump also has excellent line-clearing properties, which are essential in fuel transfer applications.

PULSAFEEDER DIAPHRAGM METERING PUMPS

Pulsafeeder manufacture a complete range of diaphragm metering pumps. The pumps can be ganged so that one motor can be utilised to power six pumpheads. Fully compliant with ATEX and with materials certification to 3.1b, the Pulsafeeder pump is ideal for precise metering and dosing of chemicals and additives.

HERMETIC CANNED MOTOR API 685 CENTRIFUGAL PUMPS

Hermetic pioneered the design of canned-motor centrifugal pumps and were also the first to design canned-motor pumps to API 685 specifications. The pumps are built to be explosion proof and demonstrate an unrivalled mean time before failure. They are particularly suitable for toxic, explosive, high temperature, high pressure liquefied gases.

PUMP HIRE AND PUMP SKIDS FOR 'DROP-IN' INSTALLATION

Wilden and Almatec air-operated double-diaphragm pumps are available for hire ex-stock from our How Moss base in Aberdeen. Alternately we can build a bespoke pump-set mounted on a skid baseplate ready for drop-in installation.

PUMP MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR TRAINING

AxFlow conduct training schools designed to teach operators how to efficiently maintain pumps and spot malfunctions before any major problems arise. Basic pumping principals followed by tutorials are taught, to detect pump failures and learning techniques to ensure quick correct repairs and plan preventative maintenance.

BURTON CORBLIN PROCESS GAS COMPRESSORS

Howden B-C manufacture a range of diaphragm and piston-gas compressors with typical application on noxious gases such as hydrogen, carbon monoxide and sour gas.
