Fall protection equipment

Working at height and in confined space is a risky business. Combine this with working in a potentially explosive atmosphere and specific assessment is required to eliminate dangers. Escape systems, man-rated tuggers and horizontal lifeline systems

Despite the changes that have taken place, there are still many other systems and equipment that could be implemented for added safety. These include:

• Man-rated tuggers (winch lines) and / or new tension / load limiters that can be used to safely raise workers to difficult access areas on the derrick
