OFFSHORE FIRE PROTECTION SYSTEMS

Engineering services performed by INMACO safety and loss prevention engineers cover a broad spectrum of industry requirements. The company's integrated fire systems and products include feasibility studies, system functional specifications, reliability and availability studies, consequence analysis, planning and supervision of total installation, fire risk consideration, and selection on type of fire protection system / equipment, preparation of fire protection plot plans, piping and instrument diagrams as well as the design of deluge and sprinkler nozzle layout drawings.

Further services provided by INMACO include design of deluge distribution piping, hydraulic calculations and balancing static and transient analysis of deluge piping distribution systems by use of Pipenet software, area safety charts, material selection, functional specification, water demand report, mechanical flow sheets, SDRL and datasheets, estimated cost, delivery time and needed recourses and material takeoff list.

IN-HOUSE ENGINEERING CONSULTANCY

Pipenet is a well-known hydraulic piping system calculation tool and used by recognised engineering houses. INMACO handle both static and transient analysis modules and use these in our own system designs.

Today's effective communication tools, such as internet and email enable the company to offer piping design and engineering consultancy services either in-house or as part of an integrated team with the client. All systems are designed using 3D CAD tools. INMACO verifies pipe-routing, clashes and also performs stress and blast load analyses.

ACTIVE FIRE PROTECTION PRODUCTS

INMACO's active fire protection systems include deluge, inergen systems, water mist systems and foam agents. In event of a fire, thermal-decomposing products will be produced; Inergen produces no decomposing product when used as a fire-extinguishing agent. During extinguishing no condense of the air will occur or production of any corrosive atmosphere. Inergen gives a clean and effective extinguishing without any consequential damage beyond the damage from the fire itself.
