LIVINTAINER - Offshore ATEX Shelters for Equipment Protection

SAFETYTAINER safety modules are designed to ensure your equipment is protected in areas where explosive atmospheres can be caused by flammable gas, vapour, mist or by combustible dust. Our modules, built according to ATEX directives, are designed for use on offshore production platforms, drilling rigs and in refineries and SEVESO areas.

Offshore safety modules for non ATEX-certified equipment

Our safety modules are designed as a jacket for non ATEX-certified equipment fixed inside. This means that our shelters are able to protect people or equipment against:

• Hazards due to explosive atmospheres inside industrial plants or rigs in case of frequent environment disturbances. In every case, a positive overpressure is maintained inside the module; ATEX protection type v2
• Hazards due to unpredictable explosive atmospheres which could appear in an irregular way and during a short time inside industrial plants or refineries with restricted hazards. This protection is required for trouble-free operation maintaining a positive overpressure inside the module when it is necessary; ATEX protection type v3
• Hazards due to explosive atmospheres knowing that equipment fixed inside the module is working. This protection is required for trouble-free operation maintaining a negative pressure inside the module (production plants, laboratories, test processes); ATEX protection type v4

Protection gas for safety modules

We provide protection against noxious gases inside the module with the following services:

• Air dilution
• Air thinner drawn from safe areas
• Neutral gas

Safety modules for offshore equipment protection

Our safety modules also provide protection against:

• Fire hazards – from outside: to protect equipment; from inside: to prevent the propagation to outside
• Environmental hazards: internal filtration of recycled air, control of the internal temperature, important sunshine period, tropical, polar or extreme climate conditions, high thermal dissipation of equipment fixed inside
• Electro magnetic hazards: protection against electro magnetic impulses
• Destructive hazards: break and vandalism, ballistics

Non-ATEX modules for the offshore industry

We can also provide all kinds of non-ATEX modules, based on DNV, ISO and BV regulations. These include:

• Electrical module 6kV
• 90 staff galley module
• Technical module with living area
• Supervision modules for two operators with day or night layout
• Accommodation modules for two, four and six people
• Dimensions on request or standard 20ft or 40ft modules

To allow us to offer you the best service D.E.A.L has a joint venture agreement with a French company located not far from our office. DALMAS PRODUCTION is in charge of module construction, while D.E.A.L is in charge of marketing, studies, design and job coordination on-site.
