New Zone 1 & Zone 2 Loudspeakers from MEDC Ltd

MEDC Ltd, the leading provider of alarm, signal, control and communications equipment for hazardous areas, has launched two new loudspeakers; the DB10 for Zone 1 applications and the DB18 for Zone 2 applications.
The DB10 is a 15Watt EExde unit which is made from corrosion-free GRP and, with its integral terminal chamber offers one of the most competitively priced and robust hazardous area horns available. ATEX approved to Ex II 2G and with an ingress protection of IP66 & 67, this unit is ideal for offshore and onshore applications.
Major offshore projects for which the DB10 has been ordered include BP Bruce (North Sea), B11 (Malaysia), Halfdan (North Sea - Danish Sector) and White Rose (Canada).
The DB18 is a 15 Watt Zone 2 unit, ATEX approved to Ex II 3GD (Gas & Dust) and shares the same corrosion-free and heavy duty properties as the DB10.
Both the DB10 and DB18 are available ex-stock for standard products and to order for special paint finishes and other options.
