Providing continuous monitoring of combustible hydrocarbon gas concentrations, the OPIR-5 detector is an open path IR gas detector. The system consists of an IR source and receiver which continuously monitor for methane in both the 0ppm-metre to 5000ppm-metre and 0LEL-metre to 5LEL-metre range. A 0ppm-metre to 2000ppm-metre and 0LEL-metre to 1LEL-meter range are also available for monitoring propane.
