The Z-Gard Product Line with an abundance of features like new combustible sensor, an updated calibration process and a controller (CXII) with BACnet MS/TP have the versatility and flexibility to meet your gas detection needs.

Highlights of the series include the Z-Gard S Sensor, which is designed to detect the presence of carbon monoxide, nitrogen dioxide and combustible gases in air. These sensors employ solid state, electrochemical or catalytic sensors which generate a representative output signal proportional to the calibrated operating range. All Z-Gard S Sensors are available with two output versions, a 4mA-20mA analog output, or an addressable RS-485 digital signal. Z Gard Sensors with RS-485 digital output are specifically designed to operate as a system with any Z-Gard CXII or C 485 Controller. Z-Gard Sensors with 4mA-20mA can be installed as stand-alone sensors typically integrated with the Z-Gard C Controller, or common commercial equipment including PLC, DCS, or building automation systems.

Now available! New Quick Start Guides for four varieties of the Z-Gard S Sensor; the Z-Gard S 4-20mA, Z-Gard S CXII, Z-Gard S RS485 and Z-Gard S Apogee. The guides include an overview of features, associated part numbers and wiring diagrams.

The Z-Gard CXII Controller is a highly configurable, robust controller that connects with a wide array of MSA Z-Gard Sensors, accepting up to 99 sensors. A large backlit LCD screen displays operating, alarm and fault diagnostic system status. Modbus RTU or BacNet MS/TP digital protocols are available for integration with building automation systems.

The economical Z-Gard C 485 Controller for wide-ranging, gas-monitoring needs, are up to the task. The controllers connect with a wide array of MSA Z-Gard S Sensors, with controller models accepting up to 24 sensors. Relay outputs indicate warning, alarm or sensor fail for each zone, and units are available with one or two zones. A large LED readout displays the active channel and the corresponding sensor gas level.

MSA Z-Gard sensors and controllers are ideal for use in underground parking garages, enclosed truck docks, boiler rooms, vehicle maintenance and storage facilities, transit facilities and airport and courier transfer stations.
