International Sales Agreement for the NORWEIGAN PURIFINER

OIL PURIFINER
We have recently agreed with the company Ing. Åge S. Wågene to market and sell to the shipping industry on a worldwide basis their oil purifiner. The purifiner, now branded NORWEGIAN PURIFINER, was developed a few years ago, and has since performed with excellence. Based on a complete different technology from conventional oil purifiners, NORWEGIAN PURIFINER can extend the life time of a hydraulic oil system up to 20 times! Ask for details. FI-FI UNITS
Portable Fi-Fi units has become a very popular solution for PSVs and AHSTs without Fi-Fi class, when the client requires such equipment. We have recently successfully provided several offshore vessels with our tailor-made unit, composed of a second-hand Caterpillar 3412 diesel engine and otherwise brand new equipment. The capacity is 1200m3/h at 12.5 bar. The unit is easy to install and requires only connection on suction side of the pumps. This solution has become increasingly popular.
IVECO GENSETS
We have recently taken over as agent for IVECO genset manufacturer GENELEC. Being a major producer with an output of app. 10,000 units a year, and we are able to deliver at very competitive prices and short delivery time. The marine gensets are in the range of 30 to 450 kVA. Most of the marine and industrial gensets are composed of Iveco Aifo diesel engines and Stamford or Marelli generators.
ANCHOR CHAIN
We are proud to announce that we have been invited by Aker Kvaerner to tender for the anchor chain for the Kristin FPSO. There are only three suppliers of offshore anchor chain in Europe, of which Norwegian Maritime Equipment AS is one. Regarding ships’ anchor chain, more and more shipyards and ship-owners are turning to NME for supply. One of our latest deliveries was to shipowner Eidesvik’s seismic new building VERITAS VANTAGE and we have just received a new contract from Aker Yards’ Aukra Industrier.
RENTAL OF EQUIPMENT
An option preferred by many clients is to rent rather than purchase equipment. Consequently we have developed a scheme consisting of a tailor-made containerized package solution, composed by the various equipment items in question. Particularly cranes, winches and reverse osmosis have been in demand. Both short and long term contracts have been entered into, the latter e.g. recently with Prosafe. The scheme includes an option for the client to purchase the equipment at a later stage.
SPECIAL WINCH PACKAGES FOR FPSOs
We have just completed a special delivery to two FPSO projects in Singapore: Two winch packages (riser handling and tugger) were pre-fabricated in our workshop at Husnes in a shape of an engine room, packed in a 10 foot container together with the winches and shipped to the yard. This concept saved the yard for a lot of installation work and valuable time.
LIFEBOAT SUCCESS
The giant 102 persons totally enclosed Chinese QFN/QFP-9,35 lifeboat, which was introduced to the European market by Norwegian Maritime Equipment AS last year, has become a great success. A considerable number of boats have been sold, and the response fromthe market is undisputable positive.
NORMAR ADVENTURE
NME's fast rescue boat NORMAR has become the evident answer to the new safety rules for passenger vessel, which became effective earlier last year. More than 45 pcs boats have been sold so far, and the demand is surging.
