S.E.P.M.A.R. is one of Australia's leading suppliers of safety and fire equipment. Located in Perth and established in 2005, S.E.P.M.A.R. specialises in the manufacture, supply, installation, repair and scheduled maintenance of safety storage cabinets, emergency deluge safety showers, and more.
S.E.P.M.A.R. filing cabinets offer fire protection for your vital documents. Our world-leading fire-resistant cabinets are certified as a two-hour UL* classified product and tested in compliance to UL Standard 72 Class 350 for fire protection in endurance and explosion of paper-based documents.
With this UL rating, you can be assured of the safety and security of vital paper documents stored inside the cabinet in the case of a very severe fire.
To test for fire and explosion endurance, every S.E.P.M.A.R cabinet is exposed to fire for two hours to ensure it has been designed to allow an internal temperature of no higher than 177°C (or 350°F). UL test requirements do not permit the temperature inside the cabinet to exceed the maximum temperature and excessive internal humidity is not permitted inside the cabinet.
The cabinet is inserted into a furnace which has been preheated to 1,090°C (or 2,000°F) and subjected to fire exposure for 30 minutes at this temperature. The cabinet must not explode or deform in order to pass the test.
S.E.P.M.A.R. has revolutionised safety storage cabinets. The S.E.P.M.A.R. closing system has only one moving part independent to the doors which are free to move 180º to the outside panels without restriction to the sequential closing system, also allowing the shelves to easily slide out.
This simple, single-action closing system has fewer parts - hence fewer faults. Also included are four corner underside levelling bolts, anti-static wire and three-point door latch and handle lock.
All S.E.P.M.A.R. safety storage cabinets:

S.E.P.M.A.R. has improved and revolutionised the segregation device, keeping the strength in structure but using lightweight materials with no complicated door-locking levers.
The S.E.P.M.A.R. cabinet has been tested and approved by the Australian Competent Authorities (approval no. 30594).
This simple design has drop-pin door locks that fit into the side wall framework, preventing any dislodgement. The door lock is simple - no moving parts, no faults.
The door hinges are a heavy-duty pin hinge, enabling the doors to be easily removed in case of damage to the door. The hinges are positioned behind the wall frame, which offers additional protection to prevent damage to the hinges.
The S.E.P.M.A.R. segregation unit can be delivered to you either flat packed or fully assembled. This versatile ability also enables easy replacement of any damaged component during usage; one panel can be replaced without discarding the whole segregation unit. In addition to these benefits and simplicity we have also reduced the cost.
Our trained staff has over ten years' experience in the manufacture, installation, maintenance and repair of this safety equipment. On completion of scheduled work a service certificate is issued with reference to the appropriate Australian standards, which may be useful for any safety audits you may have. If a safety audit is required S.E.P.M.A.R. staff can conduct these also.
