Separation Specialists - Flotation Equipment Service and Repair

Separation Specialists has serviced and repaired flotation equipment since 1989 working with many types of units, including Wemco and Petrolite. With our expansion to the Gulf of Mexico in 1992 we began offering the TurboJet Induced Gas Flotation Unit, an efficient simple solution to oil and water separation. Since 1989 many custom products have been developed for flotation equipment.

WATER TREATMENT APPLICATIONS

Separation Specialists deliver the following applications: oil field produced water, suspended solids removal, contaminated water treatment, ballast water, as well as agricultural and paper processing, chemical processing, storm water runoff, plus food processing.

PRODUCTS, SERVICES AND TECHNICAL SUPPORT FOR OIL AND WATER SEPARATION

Separation Specialists strives to provide innovative products and services for oil and water separation and back those products with quality technical support. Technicians are available to inspect and make recommendations for repairs to flotation units. Regularly scheduled inspections form the backbone of our preventative maintenance plans that help diagnose potential problems before they cost thousands in lost production and repairs.

Our product range includes parts for Wemco, Petrolite and other flotation units; refurbished Wemco units; TurboJet induced gas flotation units; technical assistance/service; as well as custom preventative maintenance plans and inspections, plus rental flotation units (330 - 25,000 BWPD).

Most of Separation Specialists' products center around the treatment of water with flotation. Flotation utilizes minute gas bubbles to float micron sized oil droplets and suspended solids where they may be removed. Typically, a flotation unit is employed as a secondary treatment phase. Possible variations exist such as following a Hydrocyclone with a TurboJet.

REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE

Repair and maintenance is available for Wemco, Petrolite and other flotation units. Standard and custom parts are available to improve performance. Agitators for the Wemco units may be exchanged for reconditioned ones, reducing downtime. Separation Specialists also work with the customer to develop custom maintenance plans to reduce costly downtimes. Our experience in repairs, complete refurbishments, and difficult applications can diagnose and solve persistent problems.
