Stromme Betex - Customized Offshore Filtration

Stromme Betex AS is a small but effective company providing customized filter solutions to the oil and gas related industry, both on and offshore. Stromme Betex can deliver standard filtration equipment from various other suppliers. We can offer our customers services covering engineering, design, construction and production of the products. The company also provides maintenance and inspection services and replacement parts.

We can provide solutions thorough studies and analyses in order to establish a foundation for the selection of a filter type to best fit the customer's needs, or if necessary, to custom adapt or design a filter solution. In this way, we can offer our customers the most cost-effective filter solution for their unique requirements.

CUSTOM-DESIGNED OFFSHORE FILTRATION PRODUCTS

Stromme Betex has supplied customized filtration products to the offshore industry for almost 20 years. Our range of customized products includes:

• Automatic back flush filters
• Fuel gas and diesel coalescer packages
• Basket filters and strainers
• Sub sea filters

The majority of the products offered by Stromme Betex are produced on site by Stromme Mek, while others are delivered in co-operation with our sub-suppliers.

AUTOMATIC BACK FLUSH FILTERS

The Stromme Betex automatic back flush filters are capable of filtering liquids, with filtration grades from 25µ to 3,000µ. We can supply custom designed and manufactured single filters or complete filters packages with control systems, valves, manifolds and skids. Our back-flushing filters automatically clean the filter elements utilising a cleaning method that does not require taking the filter out of service.

PRESSURE VESSELS AND TANKS FOR OFFSHORE

Stromme Betex designs and produces tanks and pressure vessels for on and offshore use, according to PED and carry-out CE marking. The production is carried out at Strømme Mek. We can also perform pressure testing and deliver pressure test certificates.

STRAINERS AND FLAME SUPPRESSORS

We can deliver strainers for both gas and liquid filters in various materials, sizes, pressure classes and filtration grades. Our main types of strainers are: bath-tub strainers, basket-strainers, conical-strainers and Y-strainers. Flame suppressors can be delivered in various materials, sizes and pressure classes.

REPLACEMENT PARTS

We offer a large selection of replacement parts and maintain a stock of the most commonly used parts for the filters we have delivered on past projects. We supply among other things:

• Pressure springs

Stromme Betex supplies replacement parts for its automatic filters and strainers. Larger and less commonly used replacements parts can be produced by Stromme Mek or obtained from our sub-suppliers.

SERVICES

Stromme Betex can offer: engineering, preliminary studies and analysis, repair and maintenance, modifications and redesigns, inspection and replacement part services.

ENGINEERING

With well-qualified engineers at our disposal we are, in co-operation with Stromme Mek, able to cover most technical project areas: project management, design calculations, project drawings and schematics, production monitoring and commissioning. Our engineers utilize Autocad and Inventor 3D for project drawings and models. Our technical department has experience with, among others, the following design standards:

REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE

We offer repair and maintenance services to existing filters and filtration systems. We are able to perform repairs and maintenance in our workshop, Stromme Mek, or at the customer's installation, onshore or offshore.

MODIFICATIONS AND REDESIGNS

Our technical department can assist in modifications and redesigns of filters in order to increase capacity, longevity and service intervals. In this way our customers are able to upgrade their existing equipment without having to invest in developing new solutions. In many incidents, these modifications or redesigns save our customers both money and equipment down-time.
