Water treatment for injection / reinjection

Meeting water quality specifications for injection / reinjection is essential for protecting the permeability of the reservoir. It is also necessary for developing the water drive required for enhanced oil recovery, and subsequently for increased production and protection of our environment.

We have supplied water injection process systems for onshore installations and for fixed and floating facilities offshore. We are treating well water, river water, sea water and produced water for injection or reinjection. Among our technologies, our sulfate removal systems are compact and lightweight.

Produced water treatment

Clean water is important to the oil and gas industry, especially when it comes to cleaning oily produced water before reinjection or discharge to the environment. We offer the widest range of proven filtration and separation technologies in the industry for produced water treatment, including solids separation; primary, secondary and tertiary oily water separation; advanced treatment; solids handling; and oil and waste recovery. Siemens Water Technologies also offers support equipment such as electro-chlorination equipment, impressed current cathodic protection, chemical feed equipment and VOC control systems.
