A record number of more than 60,000 experts visited the 17th international exhibition Schweißen & Schneiden on 14-19 September 2009 in Essen, Germany.
The large Böhler Welding Group stand, which covered more than 2,300m², represented the brands Böhler Welding, T-Put, UTP, Soudokay, Avesta und Fontargen. Designed in the shape of a 13m high offshore platform and including a helicopter, the stand’s appearance was definitely the most extraordinary overall experience of the entire fair.
The prominent main attractions at the Böhler Welding Group stand were, once again, welding demonstrations with a selection of heat resistant, stainless, un and medium-alloyed Böhler flux cored wires. In addition, the introduction of the laser-sealed flux cored wire, a patented innovation of the Böhler Welding Group, caused a great deal of excitement.
