For the Ekofisk 2 project, Dillinger Hütte supplied the TM plates, in extraordinary dimensions and with exceptional plate properties, for both platforms and connecting bridges. These plates were of standards which had previously been achieved by only a few Japanese works in the North-Sea offshore market.
