Dillinger Huette offers new steel: S500

Dillinger Huette has delivered the first several thousand tons of a new structural steel plate having a minimum yield strength of 500 MPa to the Norwegian sector. S500 complies with the NORSOK standard and is covered by weldability qualification including CTOD testing. Being a thermomechanically rolled steel it shows excellent weldability and fracture toughzness at low temperatures. It is available in thicknesses up to 90 mm and width up to 4,200 mm.
