GATE VALVES

Harihar Alloy Castings provides castings for gate valves for different applications in several sectors. The gate valves, bonnet, and wedge are available from 2in to 20in in the pressure class of 150psi, 300psi and 600psi.

Gate valve body castings are available in both flanged type and threaded type with sizes from 2in to 7in, and pressure ratings of 2,000psi, 3,000psi, 5,000psi and 10,000psi for oilfield applications.

The gate valves are made of ASTM A487 alloy-steel material. Gate valves are also known as sluice valves. By lifting a rectangular or a round gate / wedge out of the path of the fluid, gate valves can be opened and used for regulating flow. The distinct feature of gate valves is the sealing surface between the gate and seats.

GLOBE VALVES

Harihar Alloy Castings provides globe valve bodies and bonnets from 2in to 16in in the pressure class of 150psi, 300psi, 600psi, 900psi and 1,500psi. The spherical body shape of the valves gives the name globe valves. A disc at the centre detaches the two halves of the globe valve's body.

Globe valves are used for applications requiring throttling and frequent operation. Since the baffle restricts flow, the globe valves are not recommended where full, unobstructed flow is required.

DURA-SEAL VALVES

BALL VALVES

A ball valve is a valve that can be opened by turning a handle attached to a ball inside the ball valve. The ball valves have a hole, or port, through the middle so that when the port is in line with both ends of the valve, flow will take place.
