Initially founded in 1871 as third-party inspection company for pressure vessels and boilers, TÜV-Saarland mainly inspected pressure equipment and material for those applications.
In 1992 TÜV-Saarland started with the new inspection service for steel products used in offshore constructions.
Located next to the well-known steel plate mill Dillinger Huette we have been involved in more than 80 international offshore projects and inspected more than 400,000t of offshore steel plates. Besides many other approvals, several of our inspectors attained the SAUDI-ARAMCO-approval recently.
On the occasion of our 15th anniversary we want to say "THANK YOU" to all our clients and look forward to upcoming offshore projects.
