Kitron ASA's subsidiary Kitron AS in Arendal (Norway) has received new orders from an offshore customer at a value of NOK32m (€4.1m) for deliveries in 2011. The estimated total deliveries for 2011 and 2012 are about NOK180m (€23m).
Kitron is a leading international electronic manufacturing services (EMS) provider for the data / telecoms, defence, energy, industry, medical equipment and offshore / marine sectors. The company is located in Norway, Sweden, Lithuania, Germany, China and the US. Kitron had revenue of about €220m in 2009 and has about 1,100 employees.
