Boltstress Ultrasonics have entered into an agreement to provide local support to Quickflange. This will be demonstrated in the Norwegian section of the Perth Oil & Gas Show, running from 22nd – 24th February, 2011.
Quickflange "is a proven technology to replace pipe to flange welding, with a safe, cold and cost effective mechanical equivalent."
This unique technology will allows you to avoid shutdowns and habitat welding and shortens shutdown duration. It also prevents hotwork, can be installed quickly and conveniently and allows for modification work.
Almost 1,500 Quickflanges have been installed for companies such as Shell, Petrobras and Chevron. Examples of applications include the Troll A (Norway) system replacement of 69 flanges (1in – 4in 6Mo, 316L), ExxonMobil Beryl A & B (UK) Mud systems' changeout of 35 flanges (4in – 8in A106) and Apache Forties (UK) diesel systems' four flange (4in A106).
Our standard products include 1in - 12in schedule 10, 80, 150# and 300#, carbon steel (A105/A350 LF2), CuNi (Cunifer), stainless steel (316 etc.), duplex, super duplex and 6Mo.
