Eastern Petroleum Supplies - Helicopter Refuelling Systems

Eastern Petroleum Supplies have been involved with the offshore industry for many years in producing Helicopter-Refuelling systems to suit customer's requirements and needs. The helicopter refuelling systems we design and manufacture use the latest technology in aircraft filtration, hoses, hose reels, flowmeters and delivery nozzles.

The aircraft fuel hoses are normally of Elaflex Manufacture, unless the customer requires otherwise. The Overwing Nozzle is normally OPW and the Underwing and Adaptors are normally Avery Hardoll.

As distributors for Avery Hardoll and SATAM Flowmeters, these are our normal fuel metering units. We are very versatile and can build any type of system using the customers specific equipment requirement.

STAINLESS STEEL HOSE REELS

We normally supply stainless steel hose reels for offshore use, but this is dependent on the user's physical requirements and budgets. All systems are designed to meet the laid down criteria from the client. We state stainless steel as these are 95% maintenance free, no painting and they will not rust in the offshore climate.

AVIATION RE-FUELLING CABINETS

When designing a system we normally advise the customer we would house the refuelling equipment within a cabinet. These are manufactured with aluminium roller shutter doors, which are lockable, but customer specifications vary and these can be skid mounted, trailer mounted and heli-portable.

Search and Rescue (S.A.R.) fuelling equipment is another speciality of Eastern Petroleum's. We build Containerised Transportable Refuelling Modules and we also build high quality 1,000l to 5,000l capacity Aviation Refuelling Bowsers that give a high degree of mobility and allows fuelling at close proximity to the incident being attended to by the helicopter.

Eastern Petroleum Supplies also carries out procurement of other related equipment such a Fuel Sampling Equipment, Water Finding Tablets, Paste Paper, Thermometers, Hydrometers, Sampling Equipment, Dry Break Couplings, Hoses Assemblies, Suction and Delivery, Aluminium and Stainless Steel Kamlock Couplings, Pumps, etc - anything that is used within a Refuelling System.

ELECTRONIC FUEL TESTING

Recently we have developed an electronic fuel testing system with water with a large multinational company and the results have been very good and consistent, with a 'go/no-go' warning signalling system. Semi skilled personnel can easily use this system and all the testing is in 'real time'.

Additionally we distribute electronic particle counters for checking the condition of engine oil, transformer oil, gearbox oil and compressor oil. These units take the guesswork out of determining when the main oils should be changed. This is done in a scientific manner to give very high accuracy on the amount of pollution that the oil contains.

EXPLOSION PROOF ENCLOSURES

Explosion proof enclosures and controls are also part of our manufacturing process. These can be manufactured to meet customer's special needs for other types of equipment.
