A Complete New Helicopter Re-Fuelling System for Songa Offshore

Eastern Petroleum Supplies ltd. recently supplied Songa Offshore owners of the drillship "saturn" with a complete new helicopter re-fuelling system as part of their re-furbishing programme which took place at the Istanbul dry-dock, Turkey.
The system consisted of a pumping system and delivery cabinet, having coalescer and monitor filters and meter as well as a hose delivery system. It is very much along the lines of eastern petroleum supplies standard offshore re-fuelling package, with minor changes to suit the drill ships existing layout.
The jet fuel is delivered at a rate of 250L a minute.
