GLYNWED / FRIATEC is one of the most well known and leading manufacturers of high performance technical ceramic components for industry. The products are manufactured from high purity ceramic materials: aluminium oxide, zirconium oxide, silicon carbide and silicon nitride.
The FRIALIT®- DEGUSSIT® ceramic materials are known for high performance, reliability and longer lifetime owing to the following characteristics:
At the ONS-Exhibition, between the 26th and the 29th of August 2008, Glynwed will present products of highly sophisticated and innovative FRIALIT- DEGUSSIT- ceramic materials and products in Hall J, stand 922.
GLYNWED has a large variety of ceramic products and problem solutions applicable to more than 150 different areas of use within a broad spectrum of industry. The main focus is to individually develop plants and systems together with the customer.
At the ONS-Exhibition, Glynwed will mainly show products for offshore applications as well as for subsea use. This year we focus on electro-technology like ceramic high pressure and high currency penetrators / feedthroughs, connectors, different types of sensors as well as other ceramic-metal assemblies. Glynwed will also present components for wear, erosion and corrosion applications such as pump, dosage and filling components (bushings, casings, shafts, pistons, plumbers, cylinders, etc.), flow meters, multi-phase meters, slide bearings, valve components (precision balls, seats, shafts, valve discs, etc.) protection and wear surfaces and much more.
GLYNWED / FRIATEC is specialised in connecting ceramics to metals, where metal parts are strengthened by the ceramics in zones exposed to abrasion and corrosion. Various connection methods have been mastered, such as shrinking, soldering, brazing, gluing and sintering. By wrapping ceramics in metal, the fear of thrust and fracture vulnerability with ceramics will disappear.
GLYNWED and FRIATEC belongs to the Aliaxis Group. GLYNWED is responsible for technical advice, sales and distribution in Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland.
