Mechanical and electronic measuring instruments

Baumer manufactures mechanical and electronic measuring instruments and offers customers one-stop solutions for pressure, temperature, level and conductivity measurement. Its products are designed to provide precise measurement results whatever the environment. Through Baumer’s expertise and knowledge, it is able to meet requirements worldwide from standard to customised solutions.

Electronic temperature measurement

Baumer’s CombiTemp electronic temperature measurement system comprises a series of basic elements, which can be combined into various temperature sensors and transmitters. Several sensor elements and user-configurable transmitters can be selected to meet the actual requirements. CombiTemp systems have either standard DIN-B or Baumer 80mm stainless-steel housing.

Digital temperature switches

ETTN range digital temperature switches are intended for temperature control for industrial process management. Based on microprocessor technology, they can be configured completely on site. The measuring range is adjustable to between -200°C and +400°C with an accuracy of ±0.5°C.

Mechanical temperature switches

Baumer’s mechanical temperature switches are designed to maintain a constant temperature around a chosen preset value, or actuate an alarm or safety circuit when the temperature being monitored reaches a critical level.

Cast steel valves

Poyam valves are well-known for reliability and high quality worldwide. The cast steel valves are certified to ISO 9001 and API spec Q1 and 6D, and are subjected to review and audit by internal quality audits, third-party inspection agencies, and main engineering companies worldwide, demonstrating Poyam’s compliance with customer requirements and international standards.

Cryogenic valves

Poyam’s cryogenic valves meet the following standards: API, BS, MSS, ANSI, ASME and ASTM. They are available in sizes ranging from 0.5in to 48in, and can withstand temperatures down to -196°C. Poyam’s cryogenic valves have the following features:

• Extended bonnet (gas column)
• Bolted bonnet
• Floating and trunnion-mounted ball
• Full and reduced bore
• Flanged ends, butt weld ends, or a combination of both
• Manual and motor-operated
• Fire safe
• Soft seats

Gate, globe and check valves

Poyam’s gate, global and check valves meet the following standards: API, BS, MSS, ANSI, ASME and ASTM. They are available in sizes up to 56in. The valves have the following features:

• Bolted bonnet
• Flanged and butt weld ends
• Manual and motor-operated
• Metal seats
• Stop check type (globe and angle)

Carbon and stainless-steel ball valves

ITW Techflow offers JC ball valves PN 20/50 (class 150/300) with AIT and IIT construction from carbon and stainless steel.

Valve supplier

ITW Techflow has annual supply agreements with mining and oil and gas companies both in Australia and offshore. We have successfully completed major projects in Australia and offshore, ranging from small projects valued at $2 million to larger projects in excess of $10 million. ITW Techflow currently holds the Woodside supply agreement for valves and pressure gauges.
