Rotator AS - Subsea Control and Throttle ValvesRotator AS is an engineering and manufacturing company specializing in remote control systems and hydraulic and pneumatic equipment for the oil and shipping industry. We offer a wide range of hydraulic equipment designed for reliability and adaptability. The company's quality assurance system is certified according to NS-ISO 9001. VISCOM RETRIEVABLE CHEMICAL INJECTION THROTTLE VALVE (CTV)Rotator AS has recently developed a new generation of valve which is retrievable. This is also viscosity compensated. The Viscom Retrievable Chemical Injection Throttle Valve, with its unique features, is the obvious choice for the cost conscientious operator when planning a subsea satellite development with single line distribution of inhibitor from topsides. SUBSEA VALVESOver the years the skilled craftsmen at Rotator AS have designed and manufactured in excess of 200 different styles of control valves, each one reflecting a specific market requirement. These include valves developed to work at a pressure of up to 1,280bar. The material on the internal parts is of a quality that gives a very good resistance to wear. We design to a service life of at least 30 years and we try to make certain that our valves will exceed this service life. The control valves are designed for mounting on our own sub plates or direct onto customer's manifolds. These are internally drilled to reduce the possible leakage points. The control valves are for general application and may be used in most hydraulic circuits. They are qualified for all types of hydraulic fluids, from the conventional hydraulic oil to methanol (and water glycol). TOPSIDE VALVESCompared to conventional spool valves, Rotator's topside shear type seal valves make sure there is almost no internal leakage. Due to major investments in developing and manufacturing subsea valves we take this experience with us when we evolve and manufacture the topside valves. The topside directional control valves have 1,280bar pressure rating. They can be delivered with both pilot and multi piloted operated functions. WELLHEAD CONTROL SYSTEMSThe Rotator Wellhead Control System utilizes directional control valves designed according to the shear-seal principle. The main advantage of these valves compared to conventional spool valves is that there is negligible internal leakage and no silting effect. Rotator AS - Setting the Standard in Fluid Control
