ASEP - Winch and Lifting SystemsASEP is the world's largest manufacturer of winch and lifting systems for the upstream oil and gas industry including offshore skids, onshore trucks, mast systems and tubing systems. Established in 1981 ASEP is renowned for supplying first class products based on the design and engineering focus that has lead to over 2,000 units being supplied to various clients around the world to date. This commitment to excellence is demonstrated through the ISO 9001-2000 award and the full understanding of all international certification norms that allows equipment to be built to such exacting standards as EN 12079, DNV 2.7.1, NORSOK, ISO, ATEX, CE, Zone 1, Zone 2, etc. OFFSHORE SKIDSASEP supplies a full range of winch systems from the simplest 0.108in slickline winch to a full-blown zone one, three-piece open hole-logging unit. Each unit is available in a one, two or three-piece design which allows maximum flexibility for the deployment of the unit on locations where there may be limited deck space or crane limitations. These multi-functional winches incorporate ASEP's patented closed loop hydraulic system that allows an infinite speed / torque combination that makes them exceptionally well suited to the full range of operations that they may be exposed to such as the fast acceleration required for slickline, a slow and stable logging speed for cased hole and the high pulling weights required for heavy duty fishing and open hole logging. ONSHORE TRUCKSSlickline, cased hole and open hole trucks are supplied to every corner of the globe. Once again in this field ASEP is at the forefront with the recent release of the UniTruck, which is a composite bodied truck that can be configured for SlickLine, Cased hole or Open hole operations or changed between disciplines at a later stage with no major modifications required. This results in shorter build times and reduced costs which run in parallel with increased performance from higher specified materials that are used throughout the build. MAST SYSTEMSA full range of offshore mast systems from 40ft (12.2m) up to 100ft (30.5m) are available and these can be powered by a range of methods from rig air, electric, etc and can even have the ASEP winch on location provide the required hydraulic power. Onshore crane trucks with up to 90ft (27m) are available and are integrated in whatever chassis the client prefers. COILED TUBING SYSTEMSASEP can supply traditional diesel/hydraulic powered coiled tubing systems, or the latest cutting edge systems that are lighter, safer and more flexible to deploy. CONTROL SYSTEMS - SMARTMONITOR WINCHMANSThe ASEP SmartMonitor winchmans displays and records all winch and well parameters throughout an operation and can also be set up to have audible and shut down alarms that are set by supervisors to ensure that key safety limits can never be exceeded. These control systems can be linked to the winch control ensuring that it runs at a constant speed or tension to deliver optimum data quality is during logging operations. When combined with the wire management and job reporting databases to ensure that all key elements during a job are recorded to ensure maximum safety and performance at all times. RENTAL EQUIPMENTASEP can also supply the full range of the following items to provide clients with a 'one stop shop' solution to allow them to concentrate on their core business of servicing their clients. These services include:
