Peter J Robertson is vice chairman of the board of the Chevron Corporation. Since January 2005, in addition to sharing the CEO's responsibilities, he has been responsible for strategic planning, policy, government and public affairs and human resources.

He joined Chevron in 1973 and was elected a director and vice chairman in 2002. He is a director of the American Petroleum Institute, the USA-Saudi Arabian Business Council nad the USA-Russian Business Council.
