Summer Report: Electromechanical Services for the Offshore Industry

Spring 2011 was one of the busiest in the history of Karsten Moholt. Not only are we able to show good results, we have also been doing some very exciting jobs. The most special of them was perhaps the overhaul of two of the largest electric motors in the world, with an effect of an entire 65MW. If these go down, all export of gas from this site in Norway to Europe will stop.

Condition monitoring is a term that still has a great deal of current interest. This year we have, as the first company in the world, been awarded as an approved service provider of condition monitoring services for mobile offshore units by DNV. This is something we have worked with for many years, but the certificate documents our competence and gives the customers extra security in connection with this.
