Subsea Manifold Protection Structure Removal

27 May 2011 by Proserv Offshore

Proserv Offshore's client required the supply of water abrasive cutting services, dredging equipment and personnel for the severance and removal of subsea manifold protection structure in four sections. They also required the supply of various cutting and dredging systems to perform all necessary ancillary operations in support of the main cutting activity.

Proserv Offshore were contracted to provide equipment and personnel to decommission the subsea manifold protective structure. This operation required the severance of 4 x 30in below the mud line OD pinning piles and multiple horizontal, vertical and diagonal members in order to split the structure into four sections for recovery.
