In-Service Mooring Inspection for Mobile Drilling Units

Until recently, MODUs have been required to dock or to tie up in-harbour in order to perform statutory mooring inspection requirements. Following collaboration with a Houston-based drilling organisation, Welaptega Marine now provides the ability for MODU operators to fulfil compliance driven and post hurricane inspections at sea, while the MODU is working, or as part of a scheduled rig move.
