Repsol and Sinopec have decided to take their cooperation further following agreements reached in Brazil.
The two firms plan to create working groups to analyse new business opportunities worldwide.
Repsol chairman Antonio Brufau said that there are significant synergies between Repsol and Sinopec, and the relationship between both companies is ideal to continue reinforcing their alliance worldwide in new business areas.
Sinopec chairman Su Shulin said that the successful cooperation between Sinopec and Repsol reflects the shared desire of both companies to start a long-term and extensive partnership.
