Aker Solutions subsidiary Aker Marine Contractors will install the Bourgogne FPSO offshore Angola for MODEC Offshore Production Systems under a new $30m contract.
Aker will install the FPSO, which will have a production capacity of 157,000 barrels per day, in a water depth of approximately 2,000m.
MODEC will supply the PSVM FPSO to BP for its Plutao, Saturno, Venus and Marte development in block 31, offshore Angola.
Project management and operations planning will be performed from Aker Solutions' facility in Texas, US.
