FMC Technologies will manufacture and supply subsea production equipment to Total Exploration & Production Angola for the Girassol Resource Initiative (GirRI) project.
Equipment supplied under option three will support the Girassol field, which is located offshore Angola in the Gulf of Guinea.
FMC will manufacture three subsea production trees, six wellheads and assorted flowbase and jumper equipment.
The contract is worth $80m and the GirRI project has reached a cumulative value of about $180m.
FMC continues to support other block 17 projects including CLOV, Rosa and Pazflor.
