Tullow has completed the Tweneboa-4 appraisal well, offshore Ghana, and encountered 18m of net gas condensate pay in sandstones reservoirs.
The Tweneboa-4 appraisal well in the Deepwater Tano licence is located 3.9km south-west of the Tweneboa-2 well and was drilled in the western flank of the accumulation to complete the appraisal of the Tweneboa gas-condensate discovery.
The results of drilling, wireline logs and samples of reservoir fluids confirmed the western extent of the Tweneboa gas condensate accumulation.
Deepwater Millennium drilled to a total depth of 4,007m in a water depth of 1,436m. The well will be suspended after completion of operations.
The Deepwater Tano licence is operated by Tullow, which has 49.95% stake in the project, Kosmos Energy Ghana and Anadarko Petroleum, which each hold an 18% interest, Sabre Oil & Gas, which has a 4.05% stake, and the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation, which has a 10% interest.
