Total Discovers More Oil in Angola

Multinational energy company Total has announced a new oil discovery in the deep waters off Angola.

The discovery is located in the north-eastern part of Block 32, approximately 16km north-east of Manjericão.

The well was drilled in a water depth of 1700m and was tested at a rate of 2,130 barrels of oil per day.

Total says it is carrying out complementary technical studies to fully evaluate drilling results with further exploration planned across the block.
