Russian Refinery Fire Kills One13 August 2007 16:15 One person has died and two others have been injured in a fire at an oil refinery in Russia's West Siberia, leading to fears that hydrocarbon chemical ethylene was released into the atmosphere. Leaks from equipment are believed to have caused a fire at 3.50am local time (8.50pm GMT) on Sunday at a compressor station in Tomsk owned by Russian energy company Tomskneftekhim, according to the Russian News and Information Agency, Novosti.
