Fire Breaks Out on North Sea Rig15 August 2007 10:16 The crew of the Ocean Guardian was evacuated after a fire broke out in the engine room yesterday evening. The North Sea semi-submersible rig is now being assessed for damage according to owner US based drilling company, Diamond Offshore Drilling.
