Fire Breaks Out on North Sea Rig

The crew of the Ocean Guardian was evacuated after a fire broke out in the engine room yesterday evening.

The North Sea semi-submersible rig is now being assessed for damage according to owner US based drilling company, Diamond Offshore Drilling.

The company says all crew have been accounted for with no injuries reported to the 87 personnel.
