Scottish Company Dumps Bulgaria

Scottish oil and gas exploration company Melrose Resources has ceased its deep-water drilling off Bulgaria's Black Sea coast after unsuccessful drilling attempts, according to Scottish news reports.

The company, who holds 100% in one production concession in Bulgaria, and four exploration permits in the country, will maintain its gas interests in the country according to the Scotsman.com.
