Shell Signs Chinese Gas Deal04 September 2007 12:16 Shell and Chinese oil company PetroChina have signed a deal for the long-term supply of liquefied gas from Australia's Gorgon Project. The Heads of Agreement (HOA) for the supply of natural liquefied gas (LNG) means Shell will sell one million tonnes of LNG to PetroChina every year for 20 years. The HOA is a significant milestone in cooperation between the two companies highlighting the provision of clean energy supplies to China, Shell said in a statement.
