18 September 2007 15:03

Subsea systems provider Hallin Marine has teamed up with oil major ConocoPhillips Indonesia to provide an inspection repair and maintenance programme (IRM) worth $9.8m.

The contract from ConocoPhillips Indonesia, a subsidiary of US-based ConocoPhillips, is to conduct platform and pipeline inspection in 80m-100m depths of water in the West Natuna Sea, offshore Indonesia.

Hallin will provide a dynamically positioned survey vessel complete with a Workclass remote operated vehicle and survey equipment to carry out the work.

Hallin says the offshore IRM is scheduled for two campaigns; the first commencing in the third quarter of 2007 and the second scheduled to start in the first quarter of 2008.
