Indonesia Exxon Gas Negotiations Over

Indonesia and US oil giant ExxonMobil have halted negotiations on the disputed Natuna D-Alpha gas block, Indonesian sources have told Reuters.

The offshore gas project, controlled by ExxonMobil, is estimated to require investment of about $40bn but has run into several problems, with foreign investors hesitant to back the project. Unresolved issues include the length of Exxon's contract, according to Reuters.
