Algerian New Oil Find

Algerian oil exploration company Sonatrach and Danish partner Maersk have made an oil discovery in the country’s Berkine basin.

Sonatrach says the drilling of ZENN-1, located in the Zemlet perimeter In the Naga block, produced about 150bpd on initial testing.

This is the 16th new oil discovery recorded by Sonatrach this year.
