ODIM Wins Support Vessel Deal01 October 2007 14:47 Norwegian technology company ODIM has secured a $4.4m contract to supply new systems for recovery vessels for use by Statoil in the North Sea. ODIM will equip two stand-by support vessels, owned by Danish support services company Esvagt, with a work boat reception system serving on stand-by duties in the Sleipner / Volve areas and Gjoa field in the North Sea. The recovery systems are designed to make it easier for stand-by ships to deploy and recover high speed rescue boats in an emergency. ODIM is due to supply equipment in the fourth quarter of 2008 and the first quarter of 2009. By staff writer » Email this link to a friend |
