Aker Kvaerner Wins US$213m Drilling Equipment Contract09 November 2007 12:17 Engineering and technology company Aker Kvaerner has won two contracts worth US$213m from Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering (DSME) in Korea to supply and install drilling equipment. Aker Kvaerner subsidiary, Aker Kvaerner MH in Kristiansand, Norway will deliver and install the equipment and commission the contract for one drillship and one semi-rig. Aker Kvaerner says delivery of the drilling equipment to DSME's drillship will be adapted to fit DSME's multipurpose floater.
