Fire Breaks Out On Mexican Oil Rig14 November 2007 13:59 Mexico’s state-owned Pemex is tackling a fire which broke out on a damaged Mexican oil rig yesterday. The fire at the Kab 101 platform was caused by a spark generated during work to control a gas leak. Four boats are currently trying to tackle the blaze, says Pemex.
