Woodside Signs LNG Deal With Taiwan

19 November 2007 16:23

Australia's Woodside Petroleum has signed an agreement with CPC Corporation Taiwan which could see the liquefied natural gas (LNG) supplier provide two to three million tonnes a year of LNG from its Browse LNG Development.

If the deal goes ahead, supply will start in 2013 to 2015.

Taiwan is currently the third largest LNG market in the Asia Pacific region behind Japan and South Korea.
